This beautifully decorated, lake theme home sits on an end lot in a quiet cove with deep water and stunning, expansive lake and mountain views. Gorgeous, serene, sunrise views from the dock, patio, or porch are an excellent way to start your wonderful family vacation day!
The Patio
Two hammocks, large stone patio with firepit and separate fireplace, outdoor dining under a pergola for daytime shade, and a 7 person hot tub to finish off a fun relaxing day of outdoor activities on this large level property.
The Dock
2,300 sq. ft dock offers wifi, a Sonos Stereo System connected to 6 High Performance Bose Speakers,, recessed lighting, four fans, seating for 20
Enclosed dock house with a bar top, fridge, to support your entertainment activities.
Large floater is 24' long with water depths on cove end at 13' and shore side at 6' with lake at normal levels. The cove side of the dock is 13 - 15’ deep for the kids to safely run and jump into the water.
Dock’s isolated position from neighbor’s docks affords peace and quiet while the deep cove dock location off the main channel provides an ideal area to casually relax on floaties near the dock.
Enjoy shaded areas on the dock throughout the day no matter the timeframe with 75% of the dock covered. Generally a gentle breeze blows in from lake side.
The Home
Open eat-in kitchen with large breakfast bar for 4, dining table for 10.
Main Floor - Game room with ping pong table, arcade game table, game station monitor with chairs for gamers, and 72" large flat screen smart TV that has Apple TV included to access streaming services in game room.
Main floor - One of the 2 suite bedrooms (queen size bed) has a flat screen smart TV and private bathroom with walk-in tile shower.
Main floor - The second suite (king size bed) has a flat screen smart TV with large bathroom and a jetted tub, double sinks, and a shower.
Main Floor - The game room bedroom has 2 sets of twin bunk beds with a full bath.
A half bath, 2nd refrigerator, family room with TV, and laundry room complete the main floor.
Upstairs you will find two bedrooms. One bedroom is a queen size bed with a flat screen smart TV. Other bedroom is a king size bed plus a twin size trundle bed with a flat screen smart TV and large walk-in closet.
A full bathroom is located upstairs in between the bedrooms.
Completing The Fun Spot 2 is a wrap around porch that provides many areas of comfortable seating and a dining table to enjoy the views of the lake and mountain.

Lake Side Luxury
In the area for our daughters med school graduation from Liberty university. The property is outstanding. The fire pit and the dock/kayaks were our favorite. Communication was excellent. Highly recommend. A good time was had by all.

Well appointed home!
Our family thoroughly enjoyed our vacation at this lovely home. A beautiful property, huge dock and comfortable furniture everywhere! Plenty of outdoor games to play. The kids enjoyed the bunkroom . They thought is was great to have there own special room . The owners were always available for questions and responded quickly when contacted. Will definitely stay here again!

Best house at SML!
This house, property, boat house, and view are AMAZING...Our family (ages 12 to 83) have stayed here twice, and we've already booked for next summer. Perfect cove for swimming, water sports, easy access to everywhere on the lake. The owners of the house are super nice, and they keep the property in tip top shape. If you want a property that gives you EVERYTHING you want for an awesome lake vacay, this is it!

Incredible!
We selected this property based on the photos of the boathouse and back patio. It was even better than we thought! The house was beautiful, we loved the wrap around porch to sit and read or take a nap. We ate most of our meals under the pergola and played in and out of the water at the covered dock! The cove is perfect. Not much traffic making it a great place to kayak, canoe or paddleboard. It was hard going home after having a great week at the Fun Spot 2.

Best Lake Property We Have Ever Stayed
The Fun Spot II was the best lake property we have ever stayed at. Every Memorial Day weekend we always take a lake trip as a family. On a whim, we looked at a new Lake for some variety. I think we are now hooked on Smith Mountain Lake and the Fun Spot II. It was the best house with the best location on the greatest lake we have had the experience of traveling to.
The house is extremely comfortable and well done. The best part, however, is the outdoor space where the patio and dock answer every need you didn't know you had. The patio with the fire pit, grill station, fireplace, dining table, and hot tub is a destination unto itself. The dock, however, is where my family spent most of their time. The bar, the seating, music system, and swim platforms are just amazing. The owner provides all the lake items you could need, paddle boards, kayaks, canoes, and life jackets. Truly loved and enjoyed our time. The views cannot be beat. I hope to be able to come back sometime in the future.”
